Claude Gravelle is the NDP Mining Policy Advocate and a member of Parliament’s Natural Resources Committee.
Currently, the Natural Resources Committee is undertaking a study on northern resources. MPs are looking at the future of northern resources in the territories and northern regions of the province, studying geo-mapping, mining, energy, Arctic drilling, environment regulations and the value-added sector. Claude has included in this study the important Ring of Fire chromite deposit project in Northern Ontario.
Claude is raising many of these issues also in the House of Commons during Question Period and his statements.
